Itinerary of Do Dham Yatra from Haridwar
Day 1 : Depart from Haridwar between 9–10 AM and head toward Guptkashi, located about 200 kilometers away. The drive typically takes around 4 hours. Once you arrive, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel.
Later in the day, explore the sacred sites of Vishwanath Temple, Ardhanarishwar Temple, and Shree Kalimata Temple located in Kalimath.
Overnight stay will be in Guptkashi.
Day 2 : Your day begins early as we transfer you to Sonprayag, about a 30 km drive that takes roughly one hour.
Since private vehicles and taxis aren’t permitted beyond Sonprayag, you’ll continue by shared cab to Gaurikund—a 5 km journey lasting around 30 minutes.
Gaurikund marks the official starting point of the Kedarnath Dham trek. From here, you have two options :
On foot: Cover the 18 km trek in about 8 to 10 hours.
Horse or palanquin (palki): Reach in approximately 6 hours.
By evening, you’ll settle in for the night at your pre-booked camp or ashram in Kedarnath.
Day 3 : Your spiritual journey begins today with a sacred visit to the first Dham on your route—the revered Kedarnath Temple.
To make the most of your experience, we suggest arriving for darshan by 5 am, when the atmosphere is serene and the crowds are minimal.
After offering your prayers, plan to start your trek back to Gaurikund around midday, ideally between 2 and 3 pm.
Once you reach Sonprayag, our vehicle will be ready to receive you. From there, you’ll be transferred directly to your pre-booked hotel in Guptkashi, where a comfortable overnight stay awaits.
Day 4 : Following a relaxing overnight stay in Guptkashi, we’ll begin our journey toward Badrinath town between 10 and 11 am. The scenic drive covers about 190 kilometers and takes roughly 6 to 7 hours. Upon arriving in the late evening, you’ll check into your pre-booked hotel, where you can unwind and settle in for the night.
Day 5 : Start your morning early with a temple visit between 5 and 6 AM—this helps you experience the serenity of the shrine without the rush.
Today marks the highlight of your journey: the sacred Badrinath Dham, your second holy stop.
By midday, your Do Dham Yatra starting from Haridwar will be successfully completed.
After enjoying lunch, you’ll check out from the hotel and begin the scenic 150 km drive to Rudraprayag (around 5 hours).
Upon arrival, check in at your hotel for a relaxed overnight stay.
Day 6 : After an early breakfast, we’ll check out from the hotel and begin our journey back to Haridwar. En route, we’ll stop at Rudraprayag to visit the sacred Panch Prayag site—where five rivers converge in spiritual significance.
We’re expected to arrive in Haridwar by 4 PM, bringing our 6-day Do Dham Yatra to a peaceful and fulfilling close.
